Collection of five scarce Brooklyn Dodgers tickets issued during the 1940s and 1950s, plus two undated examples. 1) Undated ticket (appears to be a full example), marked for game number "35." The ticket is a, Return Check To Reserved Section/Good Only On Day of Issue. 4x1.5" Blank back. VG. 2) Undated spring training ticket stub for a Brooklyn National League Base Ball Club game at the club's Clearwater Athletic Field in Clearwater, Florida. 2.5x1.25". Blank back. GD. 3) 1942 special full pass for military personnel, issued in conjunction with, The New York City Defense Recreation Committee. The tear-off portion of the ticket reads, Admit One Service Man in Uniform to Ebbets Field/Wed. Sept. 23, 1942. 6x2". GD, with ink notations on the reverse. 4) 1945 Red Cross Benefit Game full ticket. Issued for a game against the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium on April 12, 1946. 2.25x6". EX. 5-6) Pair of full tickets to the game against the New York Giants at the Polo Grounds on April 25, 1952. Research indicates that this game was rained out and made up on June 26th. 6.25x1.5" Each EX-MT. 7) 1954 Elsie Day Ticket. These "Elsie Day" tickets were part of a cross-promotion with Borden Dairy (the company's trademark cow was named Elsie). Kids could redeem a certain number of lids, bags, or wrappers from Borden products in exchange for an Elsie ticket. The offered example is dated Sep 26 1954. 2.5x2.25". FR-GD.
