Collection of 156 film negatives, each picturing one or more members of the Cleveland Indians. All appear to be original negatives, but one should allow for the possibility of several duplicate negatives in the collection. Based on the dates written on the sleeves, these images capture players from the 1930s through the early 1940s. While most picture common players or coaches, several stars are featured in the grouping, including Bob Feller, Roger Peckinpaugh, Luke Sewell, Rollie Hemsley, Ken Keltner, Earl Whitehill, Jim Bagby, Hal Trosky, Ben Chapman, and Mel Harder. Additional player/coach images in the collection (many more than once; different poses) include Charles Workman, Al Milnar, Joe Dobson, Beau Bell, Oscar Melillo, Lyn Lary, Frank Pytlak, John Humphries, Jeff Heath, Roy Weatherly, George Susce, Thornton Lee, Ray Mack, Bill Sullivan, George Uhle, Joe Heving, Clint Brown, Oscar Grimes, Sammy Hale, Al Smith, Nate Andrews, and Gene Desautels, All the negatives measure 4x5" and are in Very Good condition overall.
