Vintage photograph of Chicago White Sox third baseman Buck Weaver, taken during his 1912 rookie season, used in the production of Weaver's 1912 Max Stein postcard. As noted by PSA in its accompanying LOA, this photograph was made in 1919 from a duplicate negative of an image of Weaver taken in 1912. The photo pictures Weaver in closeup during his first season in the Majors as a member of White Sox. Two "N. E. A." (Newspaper Enterprise Association) credit stamps appear on the reverse, along with the date stamp, Sep 29 1912, and a few handwritten notations. The photo (7.25x9.5") remains in Excellent to Mint condition. Encapsulated and certified as Type IV Authentic by PSA. Accompanied by a full LOA from PSA.
