Rawlings ash bat has a black finish and measures 34.5" in length while weighing 35.7 ounces. Outstanding use includes Sosa's trademark wide bubble of tape applied to the knob (included in the bat weight) along with a repaired handle crack, ball impressions with paint transfer on the barrel, and some notable chips to the black surface. Sosa has signed between the trademark and barrel stamp in 9/10 silver Sharpie along with inscription, "#21 Game Used 2002." At age 33 and entering the final stage of his career in '02, Slammin' Sammy hit "only" 49 home runs to lead the National League, with 108 RBI and a .288 batting average.
