Displayed is a 1976 Cincinnati Reds World Series Champions team-signed ball, a very tough ball to find in high grade, and the highest grade that we have ever had to handle for the 1976 World Champs. The ball 31 signatures, a very high signature count. This ball was team-signed by the fabulous Big Red Machine, at the peak of its great dynasty. The '76 Reds had a regular-season record of 102-60. They swept the Philadelphia Phillies, 3-0, in the NL Championship Series and then swept the New York Yankees in the World Series. The '76 Reds were skippered by Hall of Fame manager Sparky Anderson. Hall of Fame catcher Johnny Bench handled a pitching staff with seven pitchers each winning between 11 and 15 games. Pete Rose batted .323, with 130 runs scored, and Hall of Fame second baseman Joe Morgan had a monster season, hitting .320, with 27 home runs, 111 RBIs and 60 stolen bases. The three regular outfielders, George Foster, Cesar Geronimo, and Ken Griffey Sr. each batted over .300, with Foster bashing 21 homers and driving in 121 runs. Truly, a Big Red Machine! The '76 season was the apex of the Reds' dynasty. It marked the team's fourth pennant in the 1970s: 1970, '72, '75, and '76, and the team's second World Championship in a row. The offered signed baseball is an Official National League Ball (Feeney), with most of the signatures in blue ballpoint pen. These signatures include Hall of Famers: Sparky Anderson, Johnny Bench, Tony Perez, and Joe Morgan. Plus, stars: Pete Rose, George Foster, Ken Griffey Sr., Cesar Geronimo, Gary Nolan, Jack Billingham, Pat Zachry, and Clay Carroll. Manager Sparky Anderson signed on the sweet spot, and under Anderson's signature is the autograph of Ted Kluszewski, former power hitter in both the NL and AL and then a Reds' coach. The ball comes with a PSA/DNA Letter of Grading and Authenticity. The PSA/DNA ball Grade Certification (#81975998) is 8, and the PSA/DNA Autograph Certification (H51197) is 8, for an Overall Grade of 8. It's a great keepsake of one of baseball's all-time great dynasties, the immortal Big Red Machine.
