Presented is a game issued 1989 NFL Pro Bowl Herschel Walker National Football Conference jersey for the game in Hawaii. The Heisman Trophy winner in 1982 when he played at Georgia, Walker was a running back who played 12 NFL seasons. Prior to his NFL career, Walker played three seasons for the New Jersey Generals of the USFL. In the NFL, Walker was on the Dallas Cowboys (1986-89 & 1996-97), Minnesota Vikings (1989-91), Philadelphia Eagles (1992-94), and New York Giants (1995). Overall, in the NFL he rushed for 8,225 yards and 61 touchdowns and caught 512 passes, for 4,859 yards and 21 touchdowns. In '85, Walker played for the Dallas Cowboys, who went 3-13 for the season. Walker that season rushed for 1,514 yards and five touchdowns and caught 53 passes for 505 yards and two touchdowns. The blue mesh jersey has "NATIONAL" across the chest, in white stenciled letters. On each sleeve is 34 in a white stenciled number, with blue and red trim. The left sleeve has a Wilson manufacturer's tag. Below Walker's name is 34 in white stenciled numerals with blue and red trim. On the lower front, outside tail is a Wilson manufacturer's tag. Each shoulder has an "NFL/AFC/NFC PRO BOWL HAWAII 1989" multi-colored patch. There is no size tag. On back is a blue sewn-on nameplate with "WALKER" in white stenciled letters. Below the nameplate is 34 in white stenciled numerals, with blue and red trim. The game issued jersey is in EXCELLENT condition.
