One-page supplemental contract between Reggie Jackson and the Oakland Athletics, dated February 19, 1974, signed by both Jackson and A's owner Charles Finley. In this contract, which was attached as a covenant and became part of Jackson's previously signed player contract for the season, the A's agreed to book Jackson into a single room on all road trips, with the cost of the room (less credit for one-half the double room rate) paid by the club but deducted from Jackson's salary. The agreement was signed on May 4, 1974, in black ink by "Reggie Jackson" (grading 9/10) and "Charles O. Finley" (grading 7/10), and on May 24, 1974, in blue ink by American League president "L. S. MacPhail Jr." (grading 8/10). The contract (8.5x11") remains in Near Mint condition. Full LOA from PSA.
