Spectacular 1994 New York Rangers jersey signed by Hall of Fame defenseman Brian Leetch and worn during that season's Stanley Cup Playoffs, which culminated in the Blueshirts breaking their long drought and lifting the Cup. Jersey has been photo-matched by Resolution to an undated image, and a "possible photo-match" has been made to Game 4 of the 1994 Stanley Cup Finals when Leetch scored a goal and recorded three assists. Blue road jersey has Gerry Cosby, size 52, and 100% Nylon tagging in collar and displays outstanding use. RANGERS is diagonally across the chest in individual red-on-white drop-shadow style lettering, number 2 is on shoulders and back, name is in individual letters arched above the rear number, all in the same style. Curiously, Leetch has signed in 7/10 blue Sharpie on the inside fight strap. Exceptional use includes at least 10 team repairs, pilling, some loose threads to the rear number, and the top portion of the "C" in LEETCH is partially detached. His smooth skating, outstanding offensive skills, and all-around hockey savvy made him the perfect compliment to the likes of Captain Mark Messier and goalie Mike Richter - both Hall of Famers - to lead New York to its first championship since 1940. Leetch was never better than in those 1994 playoffs, with 11 goals and 23 assists for 34 points in 23 games; enough to earn the Conn Smythe Trophy as Playoffs MVP. Note that the Rangers wore the Stanley Cup Playoffs shoulder patch only in the finals against the Vancouver Canucks; that patch is NOT present and we don't see any signs of removal, though it is still possible that the jersey was worn for the final round and a patch was removed at a later date. Comes with Resolution LOA and Rangers LOA signed by Leetch and Kevin McDonald, who was an assistant to General Manager Neil Smith.
