Hardbound first-edition of "Aaron to Zuvernick - A Nostalgic Look at
the Baseball Players of the Fifties" by Rich Marazzi and Len Fiorito,
signed by an incredible 327 of the 1,560 players profiled within,
including forty-five Hall of Famers. This is the greatest number of
baseball signatures we have ever seen in a single book, making it
unique. The book published in 1982, provides short profiles of every player who appeared in a major league game during the 1950s. Only Walker Cooper was unintentionally omitted. When the
book first came out our consignor made it his mission to try and obtain
as many signatures as he could of the players listed within. The quest
took decades, but it was a labor of love, and nearly all the signatures
were obtained in person. Because all the signers played in the 1950s, it
is not surprising that vast majority are now deceased, making it
impossible to duplicate our consignor's feat. The book features twenty
pages of photos, and several of the players have signed their respective
photos, but the vast majority of signatures are scripted next to the
player's respective profile. A few signatures also appear on either side
of the rear flyleaf. The signatures, scripted in a variety of inks, average 9/10.
The forty-five Hall of Fame signatures featured in the book are those of Hank Aaron, Walter Alston, Sparky Anderson, Luis Aparicio, Luke
Appling, Richie Ashburn, Ernie Banks, Yogi Berra, Jim Bunning, Orlando Cepeda,
Joe DiMaggio, Larry Doby, Bobby Doerr, Whitey Ford, Bob Gibson, Monte Irvin,
Jim Kaat, Al Kaline, George Kell, Harmon Killebrew, Ralph Kiner, Sandy Koufax,
Bob Lemon, Al Lopez, Mickey Mantle, Eddie Mathews, Willie Mays, Bill Mazeroski,

Rizzuto, Robin Roberts, Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson, Red Schoendienst, Enos
