Circa 1970s Cincinnati Reds batting helmet was game worn and signed by Pete Rose. Red helmet shows signs of wear including slight chipping to the white "C" logo on the crown and number 14 written on the inside padding in bold black marker. Rose has signed in 9/10 black Sharpie along with the inscription, "1975 W.S. MVP." While there is use evident including scuffs and general wear to the leather band and interior padding, it is quite remarkable that it is in as clean a condition as it is; of course, "Charlie Hustle" was well known for running out of his helmets practically from the moment he left the batter's box.
