Official American League (Barnard) ball signed in black fountain pen by New York Yankees teammates Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and Earle Combs. Ruth's signature occupies its customary spot on the sweet spot and grades 6/10. The signatures of Gehrig (grading 5/10) and Combs (grading 8/10) appear together on a side panel. The placing of the signatures is such that this ball could easily display as a Ruth single if so desired. This ball dates from the 1929 to 1931 manufacturing period and, presumably, was signed by the trio sometime during that three-year span.
