Circa 1936 retail advertising sign issued in promotion of Kool Cigarettes. This sign has special appeal to racing fans because it reminds patrons that "Mr. Kool Will Broadcast the Kentucky Derby" (on the radio) and features a large illustration of the 1935 Kentucky Derby winner Omaha. The date of the Derby, "Derby Day May 2nd," is boldly lettered along the base. The cardboard sign (14x21") displays light corner and edge wear and is in Excellent condition overall.
