Scarce photographer's field pass issued for Pele's last game, an exhibition between the New York Cosmos and Santos of Brazil, played at Giants Stadium in New Jersey on October 1, 1977, The full field pass, which is stamped "Void," lists the date and teams, and also features several images of Pele in honor of his final game. Over 75,000 fans endured a driving rain storm to witness Pele's last game on that historic day. Pele played for only two professional teams during his long career, Santos of Brazil and the New York Cosmos. In a fitting move, Pele played the first half of the game for the Cosmos, and the second half with Santos. Pele scored one goal in the first half for the Cosmos, which helped them win the game 2-1. The pass (3x6.5") displays a pre-punched hole along the top border (so it could be worn with a lanyard), a small tear below the hole, numerous creases, and light soiling.
