One-page handwritten letter, dated Dec 27, signed by Jackie Robinson. PSA has encapsulated the letter and certified both the signature and handwriting as Authentic. In his letter, scripted on his personal letterhead, Robinson writes to a "Mrs. Boyd," and offers thanks for her friendship. In full: "Thanks for your very nice card and the note you wrote. I am sure you must know how it makes us feel and I hope we will always be able to have the wonderful expression of friendship. We certainly wish for you and yours the very best for the coming New Year. Sincerely, Jackie Robinson." Both the signature and text grade 8/10. The letter (7.25x10.5") displays two horizontal folds and light creasing. Although no year is listed, the letter is accompanied by its original mailing envelope (7.5x4"; VG), which is postmarked December 28, 1955.
