Original circa 1986 photograph captures the showmanship of Queen's legendary frontman, Freddie Mercury. Black and white image measures roughly 7x9.5" with no border and depicts Freddie doing what he did best - entertain. Bare-chested with suspenders holding up shiny black pleather pants, Mercury holds a tambourine in his right hand and his microphone in the left, with drummer Roger Taylor's kit visible in the background. Combining his tremendous stage presence with his four-octave singing range, Mercury's distinctive sound lifted Queen to the top of the music charts on numerous occasions, securing his place in rock history. Back has handwritten blue ink notations identifying photographer Barry Schultz, with two stamps and a sticker from Retna, Ltd. Encapsulated as PSA Type I.
