Offered here is an incredibly well preserved 1955 World Series pennant featuring the two combatants: the New York Yankees and the Brooklyn Dodgers. The blue pennant stretches 30” wide and 13” high on its left end. Flowing light brown tassels adorn the left side. The pennant showcases a pair of color renderings of both Yankee Stadium and Ebbets Field on the left side with special callouts to both managers: Casey Stengel (Yanks) and Walter Alston (Dodgers). The middle portion of the pennant shows equal billing for both team names, while an oversized white baseball graces the right hand side with “WORLD SERIES 1955” emblazoned across the sweet spot. Only a few small holes detract from its overall stunning appearance. A great keepsake from the ‘55 World Series, which went to the Dodgers, four games to three.
