Beautiful Boston Red Sox home jersey worn on Father/Son day by the progeny of the great Ted Williams, John Henry Williams. Cream-colored flannel top is button-front with Tim McAuliffe and size 28 tagging on left front tail, RED SOX is in individual red-on-navy felt lettering across the chest, and a 4" number 9 stands alone on back in red-on-blue felt. A few minor spots of foxing from age are present at the tail, no obvious evidence of use otherwise displayed. We don't have an exact date, but as this looks like a jersey made for a teen, John Henry's birth year of 1968 makes it likely that this was worn in the early-to-mid-1980s.
