Beautiful vintage 1955 Frank Shellenback New York Giants game worn jersey is from one of the last seasons before the team's move to San Francisco. Cream colored top has "Shellenback" strip tag stitched into collar, Tim McAuliffe size 48, washing instructions, and Set 1 1955 tagging are on left front tail with "5 in" embroidered nearby in black. GIANTS is in individual black-on-orange felt letters across the chest of the flannel top, the number has been removed from the back, and the front nameplate has been restored. Shellenback pitched in just the 1919 and 1920 MLB seasons, but he became a prominent manager/coach thereafter, serving as the Giants' pitching coach during the period in which this jersey was worn.
