Original Type I photograph capturing Hall of Fame pitcher Satchel Paige as a member of the St. Louis Browns. Paige is pictured walking to the dugout after being relieved from his stint on the mound. A Brown Brothers credit stamp appears on the reverse, along with two tiny white labels and both Paige's name and the year, "1951," written in pencil. Paige was a member of the St. Louis Browns from 1951-1953. The photo (7.75x9.25") has been slightly trimmed to its current dimensions and is otherwise in Excellent condition.
