1990 Boston Red Sox jersey worn and signed by first base coach Al Bumbry. White home top is button-front with classic two-tone RED SOX across the chest and red piping extending around the collar and down both sides of the buttons. Wilson, size 40, and 90 tags are on the front left tail. Though the strip tag on the tail indicates that this was issued in 1990, the left sleeve has red initials JRY sewn on in individual letters above a black strip, memorializing the passing of owner Jean R. Yawkey. Since this is a coaches jersey and Yawkey did not pass until 1992, it's likely that this was used during that span and a new jersey was not issued each year for coaches. Number 37 is on back in red-on-black tackle twill. Autograph is on the left breast along with "Sox #39" in broad red magic marker, rating 8/10, jersey shows light use including minor stains in the collar. Bumbry played all but the last of his 14 MLB seasons with the Baltimore Orioles before moving on to the coaching ranks, serving with Boston from 1988-93.
