Classic 1987 Defensive Most Valuable Player trophy awarded to Hall of Famer Reggie White. Measuring 17" tall on wood base measuring roughly 9" on each side, the plaque on the base reads, "Eagles Fly for Leukemia and the Bakers Club of Philadelphia presents to REGGIE WHITE - Philadelphia Eagles - MVP - Defense - December 1, 1987." In EX-NM condition with minor scuffs on the base and one small blemish noted on the football portion. Comes from Jeremy White and is accompanied by a signed LOA by him stating that it is from Reggie White's personal collection. The "Minister of Defense" earned his Hall of Fame accolades on the strength of 13 Pro Bowl appearances and he was the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year in both the 1987 and '88 seasons.
