Collection of eight pro football programs spanning the years 1946 to 1966. These programs originate from the personal collection of Cleveland Browns Hall of Fame wide receiver Mac Speedie and has been consigned to this auction directly by a family member. It is one of twenty lots from the Mac Speedie Collection offered in this auction, all of which were just recently on public display at the National Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. During his career, Mac Speedie played in both the All-America Football Conference (AFC) and National Football Conference (NFL). Following his retirement, he coached in the American Football League (AFL) with both the Houston Oilers and Denver Broncos. This collection of programs features examples from each of those three leagues. 1) 1946 Cleveland Browns (vs. Seahawks on 9/6).
