Pair of All-America Football Conference (AAFC) title programs from 1947 and 1949, respectively. These programs originate from the personal collection of Cleveland Browns Hall of Fame wide receiver Mac Speedie and have been consigned to this auction directly by a family member. It is one of twenty lots from the Mac Speedie Collection offered in this auction, all of which were just recently on public display at the National Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. 1) Large-format (9x12") program issued for the title game between the New York Yankees and Cleveland Browns played at Yankee Stadium on December 14, 1947. Fair to Good condition overall, with a tape-repaired spine, creases, and tears. 2) Program (8x10.5") issued for the title game between the Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers played at Cleveland Municipal Stadium on December 11, 1949. This was the final game in AAFC history. Fair condition, with a detached front cover, vertical fold, and creasing.
