Classic real-photo postcard of Jackie Robinson, signed by Robinson on the front. PSA has encapsulated the card and certified the signature as "Authentic." Robinson has inscribed the card "Best Wishes, Sincerely, Jackie Robinson" in blue fountain pen across his image, with the white background of his uniform providing outstanding contrast. Both the inscription and signature grade 9/10. A stamped facsimile Robinson signature appears along the bottom white border. This postcard, which was first produced in the late 1940s, was used by Robinson for many years to fulfill autograph requests by fans. The card was also used for promotional purposes during the mid-1950s by Robinson's clothing store, located in Harlem, New York. Produced by "J. J. K. Copy-Art" as noted in print on the reverse. The card (3.5x5.5"), which has not been addressed or mailed, displays light-to-moderate creasing throughout and paper residue on the reverse corners from having once been mounted in an album.
