From Rutherford's days with Stoops Racing/Conseco comes this race worn fire suit. Worn by the three-time Indy 500 winner in 1990 while racing in the CART PPG Indy Car World Series, this Simpson fire suit is complete with all manufacturers tagging in the collar including its "5/90" flag attached. White suit reads, "Conseco" across the front as well as the back, just below the oversized Good Year embroidery, and is loaded with sponsorship patches including PPG; Valvoline; Champion; Starcraft; Simpson; Cart; Champion Drivers Association and even some "Stoops Racing Team" embroidery. Fire suit shows fine use with consistent wear, is damage free and is signed by Johnny Rutherford himself on the right shoulder in 8/10 black Sharpie.
