Pair of full fight tickets issued for both of Muhammad Ali's bouts with Floyd Patterson. Each ticket has been encapsulated by PSA and certified as "Authentic." These tickets have been culled from the #1 Ranked Muhammad Ali Ticket Collection on the PSA Registry, which is being offered as a "set break" in our Spring Classic 2022 auction. Listed on the PSA Registry as "Muhammad Ali On-Site Ticket Collection," the collection is 74.60% complete with a Weighted GPA of 11.56. 1) Full "Ringside" ticket (6x2.5") from the heavyweight bout between Muhammad Ali and Floyd Patterson held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, in Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 22, 1965. The ticket displays three cancellation holes and is otherwise in Near Mint condition. It should be noted that this is the only example with cancellation holes listed in the PSA Population Report. Ali defeated Patterson by technical knockout in the twelfth round to retain his title. 2) Full "Loge" ticket (5.5x1.75") from the NABF Heavyweight Championship bout between champion Muhammad Ali and Floyd Patterson, held at Madison Square Garden in New York, on September 20, 1972. The ticket displays three cancellation holes and is otherwise in Excellent to Mint condition. It should be noted that this is the only example with cancellation holes listed in the PSA Population Report. In this rematch, Ali once again easily defeated Patterson, this time by a knockout in the seventh round. The fight marked the last bout of Patterson's professional career.
