Yellow Hall of Fame postcard signed on the front by Dave Bancroft. PSA has encapsulated the card and certified the signature as "Authentic." Bancroft has scripted his name in blue ink along the top border, with the signature grading 7/10. Bancroft was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1971, but he died just one year later. Therefore, collectors had a very short window of time in which to obtain his signature on a Hall of Fame postcard. As a result, Bancroft signed Hall of Fame postcards are rare. This is the first we have ever offered and we have seen few others at auction. The card, which has not been addressed or mailed, displays slight discoloration to the reverse corners from having once been displayed in an album with photo mounts, otherwise it is in Excellent to Mint condition. An outstanding example of this rare signed card, which is one of the keys to acquiring a complete signed set of Hall of Fame postcards.
