Pie Traynor yellow Hall of Fame postcard, signed by Traynor along the top border. PSA has encapsulated the card and certified the signature as "Authentic." Traynor is one of the few players whose signature on a yellow Hall of Fame postcard is scarcer than that on a black-and-white Hall of Fame postcard. Traynor has inscribed the card "With best wishes Pie Traynor" in blue ink. Yellow Hall of Fame postcards, with their slick fronts, have always posed a challenge for players signing in ink, and this card is no exception. Traynor was obviously having a lot of trouble signing this card, as he had to go over it at least once, with both bleeding and smudging evident. It also appears that he first tried to start his salutation with "From," but then changed it to "with best wishes." Overall, the signature grades 3/10 (mainly for the aesthetic issues), but it remains clearly legible. The card displays a heavy horizontal crease near the base. In Fair to Good condition overall.
