1921 Exhibits Walter Johnson, signed by the legendary "Big Train" on the front. PSA has encapsulated the card and certified the signature as "Authentic." This is the first signed 1921 Exhibits Walter Johnson card we have ever handled and the only PSA-certified example we have seen. Johnson's signature has been scripted in black fountain pen (grading 7/10) across his image and is prefaced by the salutation "Best Wishes." Exhibits were issued annually throughout the 1920s, with 1921 marking their debut. While Johnson was featured in each series through 1927, very few signed examples have surfaced, making this an exceptionally rare Johnson signed card issue. The card displays light staining along the base, corner wear, and a lengthy pencil notation on the reverse. Technically in Fair to Good condition overall, but closer to VG in its overall appearance.
