Hall of Fame black-and-white postcard (Albertype Type 1) signed twice by Honus Wagner. PSA has encapsulated the card and certified each signature as "Authentic." Wagner has signed the card in black fountain pen on both the front and reverse. The front signature, which appears near the top border, grades 8/10, while the reverse signature grades 7/10. As most advanced collectors are aware, Wagner's signature on a Hall of Fame postcard is rare, which is surprising since he was one of the first five inductees into the Hall of Fame and a very accommodating signer throughout his life (he died in 1955). This is the first such example we have offered in over twenty years and we have seen few others at auction during that time. It is also the ONLY double-signed Honus Wagner Hall of Fame postcard we have ever seen, making it an especially desirable Wagner rarity. The card displays a small crease in the upper left corner and two tiny pieces of tape on the right front border, near the top and bottom, respectively. In Good to Very Good condition overall.
