In 1976 Bill Belichick accepted a position as the assistant special teams coach with the Detroit Lions, marking his first professional football coaching job. His debut in that capacity came in the 1976 NFL Hall of Fame Game between the Lions and Broncos, held in Canton, Ohio, on July 24th. Offered here are four full tickets to Belichick's historic pro-football coaching debut. Each ticket (6.75x2.5") has been graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. These tickets, which were submitted to PSA by Lelands, represent four of the six full tickets to this game graded NM-MT 8 by PSA, with NONE graded higher. Belichick, of course, quickly rose to greater heights and is considered by many as the greatest coach in NFL history. Every career must start somewhere and for Belichick it began one summer day in 1976. This is a fantastic collection of commemorative souvenirs from Belichick's historic NFL coaching debut, all of which are the highest-graded examples ever evaluated by PSA.
