Vintage photograph capturing Miller Huggins as a member of the St. Louis Cardinals. Huggins is pictured holding a bat as he poses on the sideline prior to a game. Huggins was a member of the Cardinals from 1910 to 1916, including four years as player/manager (1913-1916). He later achieved greater fame as manager of the New York Yankees, winning six pennants and three world championships from 1921 to 1928. Two Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse, along with Huggins' name written in pencil. The crystal-clear photo (5x7") remains in Excellent condition.
