Pittsburgh Steelers home jersey worn by Hall of Fame receiver John Stallworth during the 1980 season. The black dureen jersey features the number "82" in white tackle twill on the front, reverse, and each shoulder. "Stallworth" is lettered in gold tackle twill upon a black nameplate on the reverse above the number. Located on the left front tail are a "Medalist/Sand Knit label, a small, white strip tag bearing the year "80" embroidered in black, and a second "Medalist/Sand Knit" label reading "Designed and Tailored Exclusively for the Pittsburgh Steelers All America Football Conference." The jersey is all original and displays moderate wear, including three team repairs on the reverse number. The lack of heavy use is not surprising, as Stallworth was hampered by injuries in 1980 and only appeared in three games that season. He finished the year with just 9 receptions, 197 yards, and 1 touchdown. The numbers for his entire career, however, speak of greatness. Stallworth was  4th round pick of the Steelers in the 1974 NFL Draft, and he was immediately overshadowed by first round pick Lynn Swann. Stallworth played very little during his first season, which culminated in a Super Bowl victory, but he soon blossomed into one of the top wide receivers in football. Teaming with Swan during the remainder of the 1970s to form one of the greatest wide receiver duos in NFL history, Stallworth helped lead the Steelers to three more Super Bowl victories during the decade. A three time Pro Bowl selection, Stallworth retired in 1987 as the Steelers all-time leader in receptions (537), receiving yards (8,723), and receiving touchdowns (63). Today, Stallworth is a member of both the Steelers Hall of Honor and All-Time Team. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2002.
