1956 Topps #135 Mickey Mantle. SGC has encapsulated the card and certified it as "Authentic." At first glance this card appears to be in Near Mint condition, but close examination reveals that it has been trimmed along its borders. Despite the cosmetic alterations, a card such as this, which is not gradable, can still have merit because it offers budget-conscious collectors the opportunity to acquire an attractive example of one of Mantle's most popular cards, but at a fraction of the cost one would expect to pay for a bona fide high-grade example.
