Extraordinary game used bat with a historic backstory in this 1995 Ken Griffey, Jr. offering with a perfect PSA GU 10 grade. According to the Provenance in the LOA, this was originally accompanied by a COA "identifying the bat as a 'Game Used Home Run Bat from 5-26-95, the night he fractured his wrist crashing into the center field wall. This bat was shattered by Junior in the clubhouse after he left the game. His locker and two trunks were destroyed.'" Indeed the superstar was 2-for-2 with a homer before that fateful crash in the Seattle Mariners' 8-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles. Measures 34.0 inches, 31.4 ounces with large piece missing from handle, ball/stitch/cleat marks on the barrel, and signature in silver Sharpie on the front barrel between trademark and barrel stamp. Griffey, Jr. missed three months after making the spectacular catch, limiting him to just 72 games played on the season.
