Colorful poster heralding a college football game between the Duke Blue Devils and the Colgate Red Raiders at Buffalo Civic Stadium on October 17th. The poster makes note that Duke was a participant in the 1942 Rose Bowl, which was held on January 1, 1942. Duke was still highly regarded at the time of this game and entered the contest ranked ninth in the nation. Colgate proved no match for Duke that day, as the Blue Devils rolled to a convincing 34-0 victory.
