Early 1950s Exhibit Supply Company vending-machine window display. These displays were placed in window fronts at the top of the vending machine to showcase the cards that could be had with the deposit of a coin. This sign was used for a machine that dispensed both baseball and football exhibit cards. The 12 stars featured here (six baseball and six football) are Ted Williams Roy Campanella, Louis Aparicio, Bob Lemon, Johnny Antonelli, Johnny Logan, Bobby Layne, Tom Fears, Ollie Matson, Emil Sitko, Claude Young, and Marion Motley. The images used are not actual exhibit cards, but thin photo proofs affixed to a paper mount. The display (12.25x18", visible dimensions) displays a few light creases and light stains. In apparent Very Good condition. Matted and framed to total dimensions of 17x21".
