It was also Russell's last college game. Russell was incredible as he dominated the game. He recorded the exceedingly rare double-triple-double, which is when a player registers a total of at least 20 in any three statistical categories during a single game. Russell finished the title game with 26 points, 27 rebounds, and 20 blocks. He also had 3 steals and an assist. Russell was all about winning titles: He led Oakland California's McClymonds High School to two basketball State Championships; After his collegiate career, Russell captained the U.S. Olympic Gold Medal Basketball team in 1956; then in professional basketball, NBA Hall of Famer Russell won an amazing 11 NBA Championships, the last two with him as coach.
