Taken from the perspective of the right field corner, the photo encompasses the entire field and nearly all the grandstand areas. This is a spectacular baseball image, but unfortunately we have no information regarding the teams, the venue, or the photographer who produced it. Given the size of the crowd (the stands are filled to capacity, with many more fans standing around the perimeter of the field), it was a highly anticipated contest. The field and grounds appear to be extremely well maintained, leading us to assume that the home nine is a top club. The moment captured here pictures a man on first base, with both the first baseman and third baseman rushing towards the plate, probably in anticipation of a bunt. Exceptional clarity throughout. The photo, which is affixed to a slightly larger mount, measures 35x12.5" and displays a few tiny areas of light foxing near the top border, otherwise it is in Near Mint condition. Matted and framed to total dimensions of 41x19".
