Nice framed team photo of the 1952 National League Champion Brooklyn Dodgers with an unusual twist. Just one year after suffering a crushing defeat at the hands of Bobby Thompon's "Shot Heard Round the World" in '51, the Bums rebounded to capture the NL Pennant over the rival Giants by four games. This 13x8" photo is matted and framed to 18x13.25", but unlike most of the photos we've seen, this version has the same team pose but with everyone looking to his right at the camera instead of straight ahead, partially obstructing the year on the banner (perhaps why this doesn't seem to have been widely distributed) and making this a rarer version.
