Colorful selection of six baseball-themed postcards by popular early 1900s English illustrator Tom Browne. Three have writing on the back, three are blank. Written backs include: I Hope to Get Home, I Intend Sending You, and I Will Wait for You; two have canceled stamps with postmarks, one dating from 1908. Blank backs feature: I'm Sorry I Was Out, Never Touched Me, and I Hope to Manage it Somehow. Cards measure 3.25x5.75", colors remain bright and vivid, overall condition is VG-EX (I Hope to Get Home has noticeable paper loss to top left corner), and worth noting that, typical of the era, most players are not wearing fielder's gloves. Printed notation on each indicates that these were from Davidson Bros Pictorial Post Cards, Printed in England, and references Baseball Illustrated.
