1933 Goudey Baseball #144 Babe Ruth card. Graded SGC GD 2. Cards receiving identical grades are not always equal with regard to visual appeal, and this example exemplifies that point. Although the card is affected by a horizontal crease running border to border through Ruth's midsection, as well as diagonal creasing in the bottom right corner, all are light and most can only be seen when the card is viewed at certain angles. As a result, the card presents at a higher level than that indicated by its technically accurate grade, making this an extremely desirable low-grade example of one of Ruth's most iconic issues.
