1973 Bobby Wine Philadelphia Phillies signed game worn jersey with a few unusual style elements of note. First, it is in the Phillies' road powder blue color, as they are one of the few teams to not use gray. Next, it is a zipper-front, a style not too often used in MLB uniforms. Wilson size 44 and "73 Set 2 44" tagging on tail, "Wine" script tagging in neck, and the nameplate has been removed from the back. Right front and rear have number 7, Phillies "P" logo on left front in maroon-on-white, and extensive use is evident with some sun-fading, plus fraying and wear to the numbers. Signed in 8/10 blue Sharpie above front number. Wine's 12-year playing career ended in 1972 and in that same season he began a 12-year stint as a coach in the City of Brotherly Love.
