All original 1938 St. Louis Browns jersey game worn by Harlond Clift shows lots of use and displays very well with just a few minor stains evident. Super rare style with Browns logo patch on the left sleeve, buttons which resemble faux wood, and wonderful embroidery on the lettering and numbering along with brown satin trim. Rawlings size 42 tagging in the collar H. Clift sewn on the front tail in brown chain stitching, some of the material in the collar has worn thru but this does not affect the overall appearance of the jersey, nor do team repairs on the rear tail. This is from the prime of Clift's 8-year tenure with the Browns, where he was a superb fielder as well as hitting 29 and 34 homers in 1937 and '38 respectively, before injury and illness took hold during the final seasons of his 13-year career.
