Magnificent game-used rookie era glove extensively worn by Kansas City Royals Hall of Fame third baseman George Brett. For reference, one can compare this to a rookie card; there are hundreds of high grade (9 or better) rookie cards of Brett out there but this is the only rookie era glove that we know of and one of a very few authentic Brett gloves that are known to exist. Wilson model 1367 shows terrific use, as lacing is torn at a few spots but that only adds to the character of the piece. Embroidered Wilson logo is on the wrist strap, glove is signed in 9/10 Sharpie on the thumb by the Gold Glove winner, with GEORGE BRETT stamped on the pinky finger inside. Brett is one of just four players in MLB history to amass 3,000 hits, 300 homers, and a career .300 average (joining Mays, Aaron, and Musial), and spent all of his 21 seasons in KC. Comes with PSA LOA detailing that this is of the type used early in his career, noting the different model he later switched to.
