Remarkable photograph features a scarce image of a young Mickey Mantle during his 1951 rookie season. Batting lefty, Mantle has made contact with the ball, followed through and is watching it fly into the outfield. Type II example is clean with crystal clear imagery and features numerous Brown Brothers stamps on the verso with a "Mickey Mantle" hand written notation. Recently discovered in the Brown Brothers archive, this 100% fresh to market example has been encapsulated by PSA for Lelands and is a great addition to any Mickey Mantle enthusiasts collection.
