The first National Leaguer to reach the 500-homer plateau, Mel Ott is the focal point of this terrific portrait from the Brown Brothers image stockpile. Perhaps used for his baseball card, the photograph measures roughly 6.5x8.5" and there's evidence of some folds at the top. There are numerous stamps on the reverse as well. PSA Type I encapsulated.
Note: This image was used for Ott's 1933 George C. Miller trading card. The card pictured online does not come with the lot.
