One of the formative bands in punk rock history, Generation X - which included Billy Idol - was formed in 1976 and burst onto the scene in years to follow. This Dolman military jacket was purchased directly from drummer Mark Laff in 2013, and asserts that "...Lanes Armoury has authenticated this jacket as an authentic Hungarian Dolman Military jacket from the 20th century." Laff, who narrowly missed out on drumming for the Clash, told us that there are no concert photos extant of him wearing this jacket as it was too restrictive to perform in, but it was generally worn pre- and post-concert. The ornate style was actually used in military uniforms as early as the 1700s, which makes this a genuine once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a serious piece of military and rock music history.
