One of the true rarities in baseball is a World Series played entirely in one ballpark. That was the scenario in 1921 when the New York Giants outclassed their inner-city and ballpark rivals, the Yankees, who were making the first of their record 40 trips to the Fall Classic. The Giants won the Series 5 games to 3 in the experiemntal best-of-nine format, and this is the only pin used that October. It is a fine specimen with blue and white enamel on the front, while the back features a broach-style pin with Whitehead and Hoag makers mark stamped on it. It is in NRMT condition.
