The Phillies won their first National League pennant in 1915 before succumbing to Boston in the World Series. From that Fall Classic comes this round medal-style press pin from the City of Brotherly Love. The medal hangs from a red and blue ribbon with broach style pin on back. The ribbon is vintage but not the original that was issued with the pin, while the medal portion is all-original and in EX condition. There is a rendition of Ben Franklin in the middle of a ball diamond throwing a pitch, and around the circumference, highlighted with red enamel, is: "Philadelphia National League Base Ball Club." There is some tarnishing on the back, which is stamped by J.E. Caldwell & Co.
